1. Misdirected anger of some

The woman who went to her son's girlfriend's family's Thanksgiving dinner was angry at the girlfriend's father because he had gone to Florida prior and then started feeling sick at dinner. Her first anger should have been directed toward herself for making the choice to go to the dinner. At this point, the only person she should have trusted was herself.

We're a "blame everyone else" society.
