Peaky Blinders is a british mob story based in the very early 1900's, I'm not so much into it, bc I'm kind of over most all the mob stories even if they are british. I do like Ripper Street which is early cops in Whitechapel during the time of and soon after the Jack the Ripper period.

Two I just can't get into are Marcella, which is a cop drama set in modern day London or a british city anyway and it's not bad, but it's one of those that no one is really likeable, and the heroine is one of the least likeable. The other is Hinterland, a modern day cop drama set in Wales and the backdrop of Wales is amazing and the show'snot bad at all but again, everyone's miserable and not really very likeable.
