Otherwise, why bother doing them? I think perhaps if there was nothing unexpected they might not have called you in, but you're certainly within your rights to hear the results, even if the answer (hopefully) is "nothing special".

They're removing the port before starting chemo? Did I understand that right? That sounds counterintuititive.
