When I got my H1N1 vaccine, they were giving out the pneumonia vaccine, but I was told I wasn't high risk enough for that vaccine even though I asked for it (had a particularly nasty bout with bronchitis the year before because of the flu). I haven't really thought about it since, because I've never had full blown pneumonia - I'm always told I have bronchitis or 'borderline' pneumonia but never actual pneumonia - probably because I go to the doctor immediately when I feel it move to my lungs.

I will make sure I ask my doctor about it. It would be nice to get through the cold season without coughing constantly. It's embarrassing. Currently I can't even get through a conversation without beginning to choke. ugh.
