You hold it between your palms or fingertips and it gives you ten seconds of an EKG tracing on the screen. You can send it via the usb connection to your doctor. It will tell you on screen about abnormalities, missed beats, arrhythmia, etc. I don't have a-fib, so I haven't seen that designation for me, but supposedly it will tell you that. $119 and highly recommended by physicians in the reviews on amazon.



I worked for several years in a Cardiac Care Unit as the unit clerk and EKG tech in the hospital, and also worked in a doctor's office, so I am definitely familiar with what's going on with my heart. I think I would feel rotten at 90 bpm. Or even 75.
