6. That's encouraging. As soon as I had the appointment set I started to freak out a little,

even though I had the other hip done before. I honestly don't know why, because the first replacement went great. I remember waking up in the recovery room and - for the first time in years - had no pain. It was amazing. I really didn't have any pain to speak of either. Maybe your body gets more accustomed to pain when you've lived with it for a long time. They put one of those automatic painkiller machines next to the bed and I think I only hit it once and that was to see what it felt like. LOL. That was so stupid. Good luck to you, too. I know you'll feel a million percent better.
