A marrow biopsy won't make your day but it's not that bad, either. If they can come up with a diagnosis and give you something like a B-12 or erythropoietin shot every month or a daily prescription strength thiamine tab that has you feeling a lot better, might it not be worth it?

I have chronic illness, too, and it would be a very hard sell to get me to accept any heroic treatment, at all. However, this could be a really minor and easy to fix problem.
