2. I was serving on a jury and one of the jurors was a college student, and it was exam time.

He was juror in the day time and studying for finals at night. About the third day of the trial the kid did not show up. He just overslept. The judge told a deputy to go get him and to tell him to bring his toothbrush back with him...He was in the jury room in an hour. I don't know if he really put the kid in jail, but it sure got my attention for the rest of the trial. I left home in time to walk if I had to to get there on time.

For the OP: Forgetting things has been a way of life for me, but I have learned to compensate. Don't let it get you down, if it is important, it will come back to you.
