hubby came home from the Doctor the end of February and said "We can be fat or we can be old, but we can't be both...and we have no control over old! I'm changing my life but I need your help and hope you'll come along with me."

since he's 4 years younger than I am and I know how disciplined he is, I figured I'd better come along with the program. So I researched the diet changes and he researched the exercise stuff and one week later, off we went.

The biggest change we made to start was cutting out every bit of High Fructose Corn Syrup (not easy if you've ever read labels). We started with a Beach Body program (Power 90 Bootcamp) and pretty much followed their high protein, low fat recommendations to start and here we are!
