We hit the local farmers market this morning. Sautéing kohlrabi with cabbage and spring onion in rendered fat (doesn’t that sound better than bacon grease 😂
. White half runners are cooking away, southern style, and we’ll have cornbread (in the cast iron skillet, of course!) and small, ripe, local tomatoes. We will have some variation of this meal for the next 10-12 weeks 🥰
