So, once upon a time, your door color meant something [View all]

because most people couldn't read, the door colors in the town said something about its owner. IIRC, the black door was a doctor, the blue door was the constable, the red door was the hospitality house, etc.

My other browser has some sort of malware I can't remove, or I would have a bookmarked link for you. I can't seem to find anything about this now. So, my question is, does this mean anything now?

In the modern world, is there any symbolism behind the colors we put on the exterior of our homes as it was way back when?
