groundhog to the rescue [View all]

My beautiful potted cucumbers started to wilt. Did some research: it's a virus, cucumber beetle.

I haz a sad.

Was going to go out this a.m. and pull them up and throw them in the trash (not the compost).

So I walked out this morning, ready to do the deed, and what did I find? Nothing.

The groundhog had paid an overnight visit and eaten them all up.

LOL. Saved me the trouble.

Only time a groundhog ever did me any favors.
