Holy moly, this weather! [View all]

This time of year, I get my gardening done early to avoid the heat. This morning, I headed out at 7:00 to transplant two ferns that were inexplicably growing in the pachysandra and do some light weeding. I kept having to stop because my glasses were fogging up. Yes, it was a pleasant 72 degrees out there, but the dew point was at an unpleasant 70 degrees.
