...or about the "Mortimer's Mortuary" stunt* I pulled.....

Since I have no children (as far as I know...... ) I don't have to worry about fessing to them.

(*My college dorm only had one phone on the floor (this was LONG before cellphones, of course), and it was in a "booth" fairly close to my room. It was pretty common for guys to answer it in some stupid snarky way when it rang, and I was no exception. So one day, I'm walking down the hall and the phone rings. I stopped and answered it with "Mortimer's Mortuary--you STAB 'em, we SLAB 'em!" in a goofy voice. Voice on the other end asks, "is (Lastlib) there?" It was my mother! So in that same goofy voice, I said yes, stepped out of the booth and yelled my name loud enough to be heard at my room. Then I waited a minute or so, got on the phone and said hello to Mom in a normal voice. Then she asked me in a surprised voice who had answered the phone that way. I just gave her a guy's nickname and said he does that a lot, and went on talking to her. To the day she died, I never told her it was me. )
