Latin Question [View all]

I saw a woman the other day with a bracelet that said "Ursam Eligo". It registered in my brain after a minute or two as "I choose the bear" (which most women on this forum will understand and at least some men will too. I'm contemplating making some similar ones incorporating bear beads but wanted to make sure of the wording. I checked Google Translate and it said "Ursum Eligere", but backtracking from my knowledge of Spanish that says "to choose the bear" and in Spanish the phrase is "Elijo al oso". Anyone with knowledge of Latin can help me out here?
