You Tube also has quite a few classics being read aloud by competent people. Audible is a subscription service owned by Amazon (who else?_ and their readers are quite competent. Talking books drove my mother nuts because the readers were volunteers who weren't particularly competent., reading in monotone and pronouncing "the" as "Thee,: that sort of thing, drove my school teacher mother around the bend. I'll give it a miss as long as I can.

It's not just devide happy kids who can benefit from this stuff, old folks with lousy vision (me) can find a bonanza these days if we've always been readers.
