6. I'd like to see that, but homebrewing is more expensive than homegrowing

Home brewers do it for the craft, not to save money. Even though it's legal and untaxed, the percentage of beer drinkers who brew their own is tiny. And that means no motivation for Big Beer to try to ban it.

Home growers could save a lot of money, including taxes, by doing it themselves. If it's legal, you can even grow it outdoors, which can be almost zero work. The District of Columbia has this model (along with other business-unfriendly rules, like you can give it away but you can't buy or sell it). But that's just DC. I expect Big Cannabis to fight it everywhere else.
