Anyone else notice any decline in the BBC heard in the US in the late evening? [View all]

The BBC was the one source where I once heard reported the facts undermining the Bush admin's claims re- WMD in Iraq.

Now it seems 50% is sports (even after the end of the Olympics), 10% is reading listeners' tweets, 10% is perky music, and the rest is the same 3 stories, shallowly reported . . . .

(Changes were made in the BBC's governance a couple of years ago, to permit the PM to appoint its Board members and to permit outsourcing to private cos., and I'm concerned that these changes are finally showing up in a decline in useful news.)
