2017 (1 hr, 7 mins.). Journeyman Pictures. In depth film that is more critical today amid heightened threats to democracy in America and Europe. The documentary covers how we got here to the extremism of the 2000s. The Great Depression began in the U.S. with the Wall Street Crash of 1929, and spread around the world. After the U.S., Germany was the most affected country. The effects of the crisis lasted until World War II (1939- 1945) in some countries.

The 20th c. rise of fascism in Europe, and the growth of Nazi support in the US during the 1920s and 1930s that was furthered by industrialist Henry Ford and other fascist sympathizers. The expansion of the KKK white supremacist group and other far right hate movements in the US and Europe are driven by themes of racism, antisemitism, anti immigration, anti government and anti democracy. *Feature focus, Christian Picciolini, former Chicago Skinhead.
