1. Isn't the act of accepting a pardon admitting to commiting the crime?

I thought I read that somewhere. That's why Sheriff Joe is trying to get his pardon and the underlying crime wiped clean -- so he can run for political office.

If this is true, isn't Trump bringing alleged war criminals to his rally?

As a veteran, the whole affair leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He's not only trashing the military justice system and ignoring the chain of command, he's flaunting it.
