I am not surprised. Since Trump has been in office the online comments are trash. You can't have a decent discussion about issues without some MAGAt troll posting about what a "liberal rag" it has become, "it's owned by Soros" and "the only liberals in the military are the (fill in racial or homophoic slur)".
It's been taken over by the washouts and wannabes and sad to say, there doesn't seem to be anyway to fix it. The internet killed it.
As they say - all good things must come to an end.
