is irreparable. There's no doubt in my mind that he was on the express track to Admiral. That's all gone now. He will retire as Captain after being passed over for promotion. And a previously brilliant naval career goes up in smoke because a political appointee needed to make a show for Trump to cover his own ass. Pathetic.
