6. What kind of chickens you getting?

I ordered some chickens last fall. I got 5 cuckoo marans hens and 5 black copper marans cocks. I love the plumage on the cuckoo ones, since I've always loved Barred Rocks, but the egg color on the Black Coppers is darker so I thought I'd cross the two and then maybe back cross using a Cuckoo marans cock.

I have half french cuckoos and half regular ones.

Then I have a bunch of mutt chickens, mostly part cuckoo marans and silky. We had this one little silky hen, probably lived to be ten, she went rogue and hatched out all kinds of offspring.
