Right now i have 4 ft metal t-posts but will put 6ft posts spaced between some of the t's. I have an old dog run from a previous dog who could not jump the run - it's about 12 ft by 100 ft - access out of a doggie door.

I have a GPS tracker on one of the dogs because they are going over half a mile from my house. They are both husky cross dogs and great jumpers. I plan to let them run for an hour in the morning (using the tracker) and then the rest of the day they will be in the house and have access to their run.

I have another small area that's 6 foot that they have not tried to jump over.

Anyway, with 6 foot posts inter spaced on the 4 ft fence, do you think there is any different between using 6 ft fence as far as stability or just add 2 feet of fence. I want to do the 6 foot but my boyfriend thinks that's overkill, but I don't.
