No real harm done, it's just the way chickens are. What you have to watch for is if one bird gets pecked by all the birds. I've only seen that with the older chicks in the bin at the feed store. I think it must be due to the stress and/or the breed. I have the same breeds as in your video, and they do settle down pretty quickly.

What's really a hoot in my yard? I have a big ugly red rooster that someone found wandering around a few weeks after Easter one year and gave to me. I think it is an over-bred broiler bird, meant to grow fast and head straight to the freezer. It's kind of dumb, and pretty odd looking. I also have a Cornish Game rooster about half the size of the red bird. The Cornish rooster is boss, and chases the red rooster all over the yard if the red rooster misbehaves!

("Chase" is the operative word here; the red rooster never offers a challenge!)
