is smart as hell but not yet qualified to offer an opinion otherwise I would ask if you wanted t discuss your situation with him. I hope your medical situation is resolved by the time he is finished his fellowship. I had spinal surgery about 25 years ago to lumbar region. I was young just out of law school. After surgery my problems persisted until I got a stomach virus , couldnt eat, and lost 25lbs and resumed lifting. Since losing the weight, my back has been fine. I still have some numbness to outside left foot as a result of damage done to spinal nerve from the herniated disc but it doesnt bother me. My dads friend Dr. Frederick Simeone did my surgery. He literally wrote the text book med students still use today on neurosurgery and the back. But, interestingly and why he knew my dad, was his love of old cars. Dr. Simeone who just died a couple of years ago has what Fortune magazine called the most valuable old car collections in the world worth over a billion dollars. His collection is worth more than Ralph Laurens and the Waltons etc. He would get a kick out of saying that. He has a car museum in Philadelphia that nobody knows about.
