Mothers in industrialized countries, women with education and things to be concerned about other than home and family, don’t have the time. Breast feeding is full time work. There is no harm in either acknowledging it. Also, it’s perfectly ok that women don’t have the time, or even the inclination, to do so.

Women’s bodies are are own, and that includes a choice to not breastfeed. The women who say they support reproductive freedom but tut-tut-tut when a woman doesn’t breastfeed (and the reason is none of their business), are hypocrites to the bone.
