I never expected to see anyone with bound feet, so I felt terrible for her. She still may have believed that it was a thing of beauty, though. Thanks the gods that's not being done anymore.

I have to admit, though, that it was fascinating to see it for myself. Rather like driving past a flaming car wreck and taking in every detail.
