Is this menopause? [View all]
I realized today that it has been 37 days since I've had a period. I am 48 years old and I had a tubal ligation years ago.
I'm not experiencing any hot flashes or anything like that. My mood is horrible. I've been in not the best of moods recently because of a job loss. It's been outright depressing. Now that I realized how long I've gone without a period (and except for my pregnancies, I've always been regular), I have had some teary-eyed moments today. Right now, I feel like I could just cry my eyes out.
For the first time in my life I feel old. My emotions feel out of control. Is this what menopause is like?
