Nice to see the AP finally clue in.

What if they had asked any of the C..B.C. about Trump and the birther "controversy" any time in the last 5 years?

Or in the last 8 years, after all Trump just latched on to this issue to score points and get press, birther nonsense is older than Trump's involvement in it...

Why did they never press this issue with any Republican official while they all played footsie with this racist nonsense?
