It would also cut way back on those pesky employees. I find it a humbling experience to have to look at the total and submit my debit card. It would be better with a system where with each item you purchase you get an electric shock, increasing in voltage with the price.

Every time the lights of the city went dim, you would know that Bezos just bought a new yacht.
