I don't like fiction written in the present tense. [View all]

I wish writers wouldn’t do that.

Sometimes if it’s a good story I can get past that and go ahead and read the book and it doesn’t bother me as much. But sometimes when I just open up a book to take a look and I see that it’s written in the present tense, I put it down.
