I just read ZORRIE [View all]

By Laird Hunt. An elegant telling of one woman’s life, in less than 200 pages. As in most stories about someone's life, there is a lot of death. So, it can be rather depressing at times. But, by the end I was just, "Wow. What a story!" So beautifully rendered, like a painting made from little golden drops. Highly recommend. Don't be put off if the first part seems somewhat boring.
