I recommend Mary Trump's book TOO MUCH AND NEVER ENOUGH [View all]
It’s easy to read and isn’t long. It tells a little of the family’s history—about the Dotard’s parents and grandparents. Reading about the family dynamics, it helps to clarify—somewhat— why the Dotard turned out the way he did.
