Oh my gosh, I have a recording of humorist Chris Colombi, of Cleveland fame, reciting this with all the vim and vigor of politician on the stump in the times of Samuel Clemens!
Truly the best parody of a stump speech ever written!
I have searched for this for years and could never find a copy of the text nor a copy of the audio file.
Every election I find I should post this, just because, but can never find it in any form. I have a friend who is going to convert my tapes to DVD so I will have that one done first so I can add it here! If you've never heard it, you will approve once you do hear it.
