change the oil, plugs, points and timing, there was a lot of room to work under that hood. I enjoyed spending the time with my dad, and it wasn't uncommon for the test drive afterwards to end up at an ice cream parlor with the instructions not to tell mom or the siblings.

My Dad was not a car guy, he'd have a company car and would eventually buy it

I had a Bobcat (a Mercury Pinto) and a Pinto; both were great cars that I liked a lot.
