Usually contracts are seen as agreements between two parties. However, there are unilateral contracts, such as an offer made to the public for a certain performance which renders a benefit. Most people are familiar with posters for a missing pet offering a reward for the person who finds and returns the pet to the owner. That is a unilateral contract and it is formed when the pet finder takes the pet to the owner -- the reward is due to the finder.

IMO, the CC and the dealership made an offer to the public, for certain performance, and if the performance was done, a certain benefit would be received. Conclusion: The golfer gets the truck.
