How to fix Baseball....eager to share my idee fixee! [View all]

i was listening to a Blue Jays postgame show recently when a caller complained that Baseball games took too long and...and I have a solution! (tho many might say the games last exactly as long as needed, that's debatable!)...A game last about 3 hours, and...maybe we can fix this! My idea is this:
Reduce the game from 9 to 7 innings, saving about 10 minutes off top.
Instead of a 3 strike/4 balls at bat, make it 2 strikes and 3 balls- saving many seconds off top!
Instead of a 'diamond' play field, make it a 'triangle' play field, iow reduce the used space by half -As you know, there's a dearth of pasturage in the country, land is very expensive, so reducing the baseball diamond to a triangle would provide pasture for cattle, sheep etc and resulting cheaper food etc-
A triangle would mean the pitcher also 1st baseman (saving vast sums salary!) and there be no right outfielder (more savings)...I think a shortstop also be unnecessary! Thus, the team be only 6 players instead of 8! The savings would be hugh!
Whatchya think?
'Comebackers' maybe a problem for a runner on first, but...surely not too big a problem?
