Giants released Scooter Gennett today -- the guy they traded for at the deadline. [View all]
They REALLY want to take a look at infielder (likely of the future) Mauricio Dubon from AAA. He was also a trade deadline acquisition, but from Milwaukee. Gennett came from the Reds, and was placed on unconditional release waivers.
Baseball is weird.
