Mays had to protect a whole lot of real estate in center field; normally a hit that deep into center was an easy double, and more times than not, a triple. Willie Mays was FAST, and he made it look easy!

Mays instantly processed where the ball was going, turned away and ran like Hell to cover that impossible distance.
