3. No, the age limits have been dropped most places (that I know of). There's other ways.

I've got mine (45 years old) and so have my family with the exception of my kid.

There are places around here that were begging people to show up before they had to throw them away. Each team could hang out at Publix and CVS throughout Spring Training and they'd be good by now.
