1. I just love them you can't mistake them from any distance

I remember back when I was a little girl walking on the beach at one of the back bays in Delaware with my grandfather and seeing a great blue heron standing on the point. It looked about as tall as I was. And my grandfather pointed it out, so it’s one of those birds that is special to me. They used to be more rare. Very glad to see that they have been coming back
