4. Eberflus Taking Heat For This

Santos is a very accurate kicker, but he's not a thunder leg kicker like many of today's PKs.
So, to hit a nearly 50 yard field goal, he needs a lower, cutting ball flight.
The Packers know this and put their tallest D-lineman in the middle.
The problem is, the Bears burned time off the clock to set up a field goal attempt.
They had time to run 2 plays, they ran none.
Had they gained 5 or 6 years, Santos is more in his comfort range, and would gave been able to kick at his normal trajectory.
Then today, Eberflus foolishly doubled down, saying he didn't want to risk a fumble.
Fans are up in arms, considering that a loser's attitude; showing too little confidence in an offense that played pretty well.
This is 2 of the last 4 games they lost on very unusual plays. Twice in four games doesn't seem like bad luck. It feels more like a lack of leadership & poor situational analysis.
