I flew recently some things I wonder about [View all]

I had a 1/2 liter bottle with water, and drank it almost empty. When I went thru TSA, they said I couldn't take the bottle like that. They said I could empty the bottle and take it, so I did. It is one of the Gatorade bottles with the squirt cap that screws shut. I don't think they make them, haven't seen any for awhile, so I emptied the water and kept the empty bottle. On my flights, I saw one person with a full bottle of water and another person with a gallon jug with about a quart of water in it, both people had the bottles in plain sight. Why were they allowed to bring more than 2 oz. and I couldn't? Did they think I had some vodka? (I didn't, had my dughter get a bottle for me because they drove to the destination!)

Not really a question but some of the people and I were standing in line, waiting to start boarding. The other people who were initially in line were social distancing, but standing with the boarding desk right in front of them. I got in the line behind the socially distanced people. When the door opened, several people filled in the social distance gaps instead of going further back. Too bad people can't respect the social distance and can't wait their turn.

I flew American Air and other than those things, had a nice flight.
