1. gaaah! my eclipse info came early....and it's not good

I almost wrote earlier this week that my job has settled into a rhythm and I've gotten good enough at it that I no longer hate it. So I've reached a degree of day-to-day comfort. I'm not saving much...as soon as my bank account re-fills another emergency empties it. But I've been hanging in and getting by. 3- days/week isn't really enough to get ahead at all, but I've been able to stay afloat, get some rest and put some time into my horribly neglected home life. Was talking about it just last week with the last person they hired before me. He was so burned out after school (and he got to take a 5 month break to go hiking) that he postponed doing the ongoing edu requirements until the 3rd year after. So I am not alone in feeling fried, having had to go immediately back to work.

So I found out at work today that they brought in a consultant who told them they've overstaffed and need to cut out 1 full time job and use the per diems less.

Starting early June I'm booked only 2 days/week instead of 3. This is not good.

So my ranking at work has declined. And my number (income) again, as well. I cannot fucking believe this. I hope the universe comes through soon. I am too exhausted and burned out to go job hunting again. I can't go through this again. I cannot believe this.
