...but I think consciousness in Campbell's work refers to more than human consciousness. Also the more aware we are of our conscience effect on our reality, the more access we can have to using it consciously. Most of our waking moments are directed by consciousness and many of our responses to events are directed by subconscious. Parsing all of this and understanding it better and at deeper levels usually gives me happier results in my life. I don't know why this is, I don't have enough science background, but when I add in the observer's effect on particles concept, I begin to see possibilities. I do believe consciousness is the best frontier we can explore to turn our world into a more peaceful home.
