6. The Permian Extinction heating runaway was about 12 to 15 years

We are just going into exponential temperature increase now. All that Arctic Methane Hydrate is already close to the tipping point for runaway warming. I believe our only chance is a Mega Volcano giving us a brief pause. Even 3 degrees Celsius will make life hard for Humans, 5 degrees Celsius might just kill most of our plants.
