3. I live here. Here's what would have happened...

Not politically correct, but the truth.

If the authorities would have forced this child to get proper care, we would have had another Caledonia stand-off.

Hydro stations would have been destroyed, people would have got seriously hurt if not killed.

I live 15 minutes from this reserve.. I know the facts. The girl would NEVER have recieved secular care because of the politics of the natives here. Deep mistrust and it goes both ways. Some deserved, some not.

It's sad for the girl - she never stood a chance...

Stupid voodoo bullshit killed this little girl. It is time we treat this kind of thinking the proper way - with much ridicule and eventual education...but if the other side does not want to be educated and clings to this nonsense, we will not get anywhere...

Sorry for being brazen, but I live here.... I know the sad truth.
