8. I went to Cazadero Supply and got them from Don.

I bought a truck that needed front tires, and I got those a while back. A week back I punctured a sidewall on one of the other tires. Good fortune followed me, a neighbor came by who brought a floor jack and the device to lower the spare tire. It had cracks in the sidewall so I figured I would get 2 new rear tires and put my good tire on the spare rim.

I have some Ham and Fire Department radios, so when the power went out I just listened to the radio and all the calls for trees down, wires down and medical calls. I had another good fortune incident, I was given a generator a while back and I hooked it up, thus am back online. The bad news is that my roof leaks and has taken to dripping on the bed. Last night I put the plastic bag from a loaf of bread over my forehead to keep the drips from landing on my face. We don't always win them all.
