A Little Snow!

8. 26 degrees in western NC , no snow yet

We haven't had any snow or ice yet here; seems like the moisture has been hitting just before or after a cold snap so it's just rain.

The mountain towns north of us have had some snow, but nothing substantial.
The cold fronts seem to come more often, but we get nice temps in the 50's and 60's in between the 20 and 30 degree days.

We usually get one good snow a year, a foot or more. Used to be in February, but over 20 years I've seen many December and January snows instead. We could get some in in February this year. It's also been known to snow in March or April, always a rare and memorable event. Maybe we'll see snow on Easter this year.
